Membership Criteria
Associate Member
To be accepted as an associate member applicants must:
- Be motivated by faith ethos and agree with the CCA inclusive statement of faith
- Be committed to delivering high quality services
- Accept the CCA as a national voice of faith-based support for prison leavers
- Avoid any actions that will risk the reputation of the CCA and the network.
Active or Full Project Member
To be accepted as an active or full member applicants must agree to points 1 – 4 in the associate members list and also:
5. Be a Constituted Organisation with an active Board of Trustees
6. Operate within a policy and procedure framework with a robust system for evidencing outcomes
7. Have adequate risk assessment processes and policies in place to safeguard clients and volunteers
8. Be clear about the services on offer and clearly communicate these to service users
9. Ensure safe and inclusive practice is a priority in recruitment, training and ongoing supervision
10. Provide regular monitoring of volunteers’ supportive relationships with clients 11. Operate within a recognised Theory of Change
12. Participate in the network and attends meetings
13. Complete an Annual Return and Members Survey
14. Be willing to offer where appropriate expertise to other member projects as part of the CCA consultancy
15. Use the CCA logo in all promotional material
