Over 2000 people are supported by Community Chaplaincies every year
CCA have 34 Community Chaplaincy Member Organisations across the UK & Northern Ireland. We support a nationwide network of chaplaincy projects that help build better futures.
Our Members work with prisoners, prison leavers and their families, offering mentoring and holistic support within prison, through the gates, and out in the community.
CCA provides continuous support to our Members and the communities they serve by providing resources, training, events, advocacy, policy and coordination across the UK.
The CCA Strategy outlines how we achieve our goals of bringing our Members together, providing information, support and representing our Members at national level
The CCA has developed a Theory of Change to describe how community chaplaincy supports people and measures outcomes
Cambridge University was commissioned to undertake a piece of research to increase the evidence base for the importance of holistic, person-centered support
The CCA believes in working in partnership and is funded through various means. All our Members are independent. They are often in need of financial support. The community chaplaincy service would not be delivered without the financial support provided by grant-giving trusts and individual donations
